Reviews

Library Journal...
"Master criminals, beautiful damsels in distress, and plenty of action — essentially everything fans have come to associate with 007...Fun reads — great beach books — and the character is still immensely popular on screen, so these are well worth having."

About the Author

IAN LANCASTER FLEMING (1908–1964) was educated at Eton and Sandhurst and studied languages at Munich and Geneva universities. During World War II, he served in British Naval Intelligence, was involved in numerous top-secret operations, and played a key role in shaping the prototype CIA. His wide-ranging, fast-paced life would provide the backdrop for his popular spy novels featuring the perennially charming James Bond.
